We dedicate a portion of our practice to clients with modest means by offering a discounted hourly rate of $150/hour. Clients must meet the requirements set by the Modest Means Program of San Diego County Bar Association. Additional factors are considered as well before offering the discount. 

Flat fees can be tricky to offer as a case may balloon up unexpectedly. However, if the scope of the work is defined narrowely, then flat fees can work. We can help you figure out whether a flat fee arrangement can work in your case.

Limited-scope representation is a division of labor between the attorney and the client where the client can hire the attorney for only a portion of his or her case, i.e. the client handles the paperwork through the Family Law Facilitator's Office and only hires the attorney to represent him or her during the actual hearing or the trial. We can sit with you to suggest an appropriate division of labor in your case. 

We offer a 1-hour consultation for $150. Sometime, all a client needs is for an attorney to look over the paperwork he or she has already drafted and proof it; or, look over the paperwork that the other side has submitted, including Marital Settlement Agreements (MSA) and advise on the pros and the cons; or, look over the case overall and provide strategic advice on the next steps.
